Gigi S by Bazar Bizar is a rattan shade for a wall light, not a complete electrical fitting. Its natural finish and half-cylinder shape combine upright rods with horizontal hoops and visible bindings. The back is open, and the spaces between the rods leave the construction and the interior visible.

What to buy alongside the shade

This version is supplied without electrical wiring or plugs. The manufacturer specifies a standard E27 fitting for use with the shade, with compatible electrical components sold separately. Allow for those parts when planning a working wall light rather than treating the shade as a ready-to-connect fixture. A bulb shown in an installation photograph does not establish a complete lighting kit as the contents of the package.

The open rod construction does not conceal the inside in the way a solid fabric shade would. The appearance of the separately chosen fitting and light source therefore matters as well as their function. Brightness and light colour depend on that equipment; the rattan shade itself does not determine either.

Planning space for the S version

The height is 25 cm, while the manufacturer lists both length and width as 20 cm. Compare these measurements with the available wall space before choosing a position, including clearance near doors and circulation routes. The half-cylinder form is intended for a wall arrangement, rather than as a fully round shade for a pendant light.

Handmade rattan and indoor care

Gigi is handcrafted in Indonesia, so slight differences in tone and texture can occur between individual pieces. Its natural material, open pattern and visible bindings suit boho interiors. It can form the decorative part of wall lighting in a living room, bedroom or entrance hall.

The manufacturer restricts use to indoors. Outdoor placement, even under cover, is not suitable, and damage from moisture or weather is excluded from the warranty. For care, use the manufacturer's recommended soft, dry cloth.
