Kohei by Bazar Bizar is a decorative wall light with a natural sisal shade. Its rounded front, open back and vertically arranged fibres give it a clearly defined shape without hiding the irregular texture of the material. This is the natural JAAR001N version, supplied without a cable or light source.

Plan the electrical components separately

The manufacturer specifies a standard E27 fitting for use with the shade. Purchase the cable and bulb separately and ensure a suitable fitting is available: Kohei is not supplied as a complete electrically equipped wall light. Some photographs show electrical components in position, but those illustrations do not establish what comes in the package. The explicit statement that no cable is included is the relevant information when planning your purchase.

Your selected bulb determines the amount and colour of light. Natural-coloured sisal does not specify a warm-white colour temperature, and shade photographs cannot establish the output of the finished lighting arrangement. Select the electrical components around your actual lighting needs rather than assuming a particular brightness from the images.

Allow space for the 50 cm height

Bazar Bizar gives the dimensions as 40 cm long, 15 cm wide and 50 cm high. Compare these measurements with the available wall area and the space in front of it, especially beside a bed or along a passage. The producer describes using a pair beside a bed or repeating the shade through a corridor. It can also form a decorative part of living-room or entrance-hall wall lighting. Do not assume that this shade alone provides a dedicated reading light.

Natural texture, indoor placement

The visible fibres and restrained curved shape suit bohemian, rustic and pared-back Japandi interiors. Kohei is intended for indoor use only. Outdoor photographs in the producer's gallery are styling images, not evidence of weather resistance.

Remove dust with a soft cloth or brush. For occasional cleaning, use a lightly damp cloth and allow the sisal to dry fully. Avoid soaking it: excess moisture can affect the fibres and the shape of the shade.
