Brinova CANVA ceiling light 3×E27, black with beige jute shades, 67 cm

Brinova CANVA article 2030422411276 is a ceiling light with three cylindrical shades made from beige jute fabric. A black metal bar joins them into an elongated arrangement, setting the visible weave against a plain structural element. This is the three-socket E27 version, rather than one of the four-light fittings in the same family.

Allow for the complete fitting, not just the bar

The light measures 67 cm in overall length and 25 cm in height. The manufacturer's drawing gives a separate measurement of 55 cm for the ceiling bar. When planning its position, allow for the shades extending beyond the ends of that bar instead of treating the two lengths as interchangeable.

Each shade is 13 cm in diameter and 15 cm long. The product photograph shows the cylinders tilted in different directions, rather than arranged as three vertical shades. Compare the fitting's full height with tall cupboards and other furnishings near the ceiling before choosing its location.

Choose bulbs for the three E27 sockets

Brinova specifies a maximum of 25 W for each socket. That figure is a limit for an individual bulb, not a statement of the light's overall brightness. Colour temperature and light output depend on the bulbs selected; the beige shade colour does not establish a particular light colour.

Check bulb dimensions against the shades as well as checking the E27 base and permitted wattage. Their open ends also make the appearance of the bulbs relevant when the fitting is viewed from below. Matching bulbs can keep the three light points visually consistent.

A woven finish within a geometric design

The straight bar and repeated cylinders suit modern and Scandinavian interiors, while the jute texture also provides a link to boho furnishings. CANVA can serve as ceiling lighting in a living room, bedroom, dining room or hallway. Whether it supplies enough light for a particular space depends on the chosen bulbs and room layout, rather than on the shade count alone.
