The medium Calters Quintiesse LED pendant combines a tapered lantern outline with a champagne-gold metal frame. Clear acrylic panels carry a fine dotted pattern, giving the lantern a different appearance from a conventional shade with a visible bulb. Its construction uses aluminium, iron and light-guide acrylic.
Allow for the complete ceiling drop
The lantern body is 50.4 cm high and 35.3 cm in diameter. That body measurement is not the installed ceiling drop: the distance from the ceiling to the bottom of the fitting ranges from 74.9 to 181.6 cm. Compare the complete drop with your ceiling height and the position of the table or worktop, rather than planning around the body alone.
Three 30.5 cm rods and two 15.2 cm rods are supplied. The suspension height is selected during installation; this is not a pull-down fitting for daily height changes. The manufacturer also confirms that it can be installed on a sloping ceiling. If placing it over a circulation route, allow sufficient clearance below the lantern.
Light-guide panels and an included LED source
Concealed LED strips illuminate the clear, patterned panels. The integrated source is included, so there is no separate conventional bulb to choose. The stated power is 49 W, with 2088 lm output and a warm-white colour temperature of 3000 K. Dimming is confirmed, but the product sheet does not name a particular control standard. Check compatibility with the intended installation before selecting controls.
A lantern for modern interiors
The straight frame and tapered profile connect a familiar lantern form with modern detailing. This makes it a considered option for modern or modern-classic interiors, above a dining table or kitchen island, or in a taller entrance hall.
