CIRCOLO LED 10864 is a pendant built from two rings of 45 and 60 cm diameter, hung on separate cables from a single round canopy. The ring profiles are black and the lit face is white. The LEDs are permanently built in.
Two rings and how they are set
The cables are independently long, so the rings can hang one below the other or be turned against each other and tilted — the circles then overlap in plan and the fitting stops being symmetrical. It is the only adjustment made without tools, and it decides how the fitting looks over a table.
The canopy is 25 cm across and 4 cm deep. The maximum height of the whole fitting is 140 cm; shortening the drop is reserved by the manufacturer for a qualified electrician, so the final height is worth settling before installation. No mounting kit is supplied.
How much light CIRCOLO gives, and of what kind
The built-in LEDs draw up to 35 W and deliver 1300 lm at 4000 K — a neutral white with no yellow cast. The light leaves at 70°, covering a broad area beneath the fitting rather than a narrow pool.
The most interesting figure here is a colour rendering index above Ra 90. At that level the colours of food on a plate, of the wood of a table top and of fabrics look almost as they do in daylight — uncommon in decorative fittings, and worth having where colour genuinely matters: over a dining table, over a worktop, in a study.
The outer ring is 60 cm across, which suits a table 80-90 cm wide. At 1300 lm the fitting lights the table and its immediate surroundings; in a larger room a second source is worth adding.
Construction and mounting
The leading material is lacquered aluminium, with lacquered steel and PC plastic alongside it. The black is RAL 9005 paint. IP20 restricts the fitting to dry interiors, and protection class I calls for a PE earth conductor. The supply is 220-230 V, 50/60 Hz, and the manufacturer rates the module at 30 000 hours.
