The Nowodvorski CIRCOLO LED M 10862 pendant is formed as a slim horizontal ring measuring 60 cm across. Its black lacquered body combines aluminium, steel and PC plastic, while white light runs around the inner edge of the ring. It uses an integrated LED source, so a separate bulb is not selected for this fitting.
Light and proportions
The 21 W LED module delivers 700 lm at 4000 K with a colour-rendering index above CRI 90. Its 70° beam angle describes the direction of light distribution. Before choosing the location, compare the 60 cm diameter with the area below it: the ring remains a visible part of the composition even when it is switched off.
Maximum height is 140 cm. The manufacturer states that height modification is carried out by an electrician holding SEP authorisation. The round ceiling canopy is 20.5 cm wide and 3 cm high, useful measurements when checking the ceiling position in advance.
Installation and placement
CIRCOLO LED M is designed for direct mounting and ~220–230 V, 50/60 Hz supply. The manufacturer specifies that a mounting set is not included. IP20 is a technical protection rating; the intended position should be planned in accordance with the installation requirements and conditions of the particular interior.
The rated average source life is 30,000 hours. The restrained ring silhouette, black finish and white diffuser create a modern, modernist appearance. It can be considered above a table or in a living room, bedroom, kitchen, office, study, hotel or restaurant when the dimensions and lighting plan suit that specific space.
