CIRCOLO LED XS is a wall lamp built from a black lacquered ring 18 cm across, hung from a rectangular base that screws to the wall. It is not the whole ring that lights up, but a white polycarbonate diffuser running along its inner edge. The model belongs to the CIRCOLO LED collection.
How much wall it takes up
The fitting is 23 cm high and 18 cm wide, and it projects 11 cm from the wall. That last figure decides where it can hang β compare it with the width of the passage along the wall you want to light.
The mounting base is small: 11 cm long, 5 cm wide and 4 cm high. The lamp weighs 0.25 kg and mounting is direct β the base screws to the wall over the junction box.
How much light it gives and of what kind
The LED module draws 9 W and gives 200 lm. That is decorative brightness: the ring stands out against the wall and lifts a patch of it, but it will not light the room β this lamp works alongside the main light, not instead of it.
4000 K is neutral white light with no yellow cast, and colour rendering above Ra 90 keeps the wall and whatever stands against it looking true. Light leaves the inner edge of the ring at 70Β°, so it falls into the ring's centre and onto the wall. The source cannot be replaced β the LED is built in permanently, and the manufacturer quotes 30 000 h of operation.
What is in the box and what the connection needs
The box holds the fitting, a manual, installation instructions and an Allen key. The light source is built in, so nothing beyond wall plugs suited to your own wall has to be bought. The package measures 25.6 Γ 20.5 Γ 13.5 cm.
The lamp runs on 220β230 V at 50/60 Hz, and safety class I means a protective earth conductor has to be present in the junction box. IP20 and the manufacturer's own declaration limit it to indoor use. It is made in Poland, in CzΔstochowa.
