CustomForm SKIVA BALL S wall light – black with an opal shade

CustomForm SKIVA BALL S is a wall light with a black circular disc behind an opal-white spherical shade. The metal disc provides a distinct outline around the pale globe, giving the fitting different profiles when viewed from the front and from the side. This is the wall-mounted version in the SKIVA collection, rather than one of its pendant lights.

A disc behind the globe

From the front, the dark circle forms a backdrop to the shade. A side view shows that the globe projects beyond the disc rather than sitting flat against it. When choosing a position, consider both the outline on the wall and the space in front of the shade, particularly beside a passage or a door that opens towards the fitting. The contrast between the two parts remains part of the design when the light is off.

Choose an E14 bulb separately

The fitting takes an E14 bulb, and the manufacturer specifies a bulb power of 60 W. A bulb is not supplied. Its colour temperature and light output therefore depend on the source you choose, rather than on the black finish or the milky appearance of the shade. Check the E14 fitting when selecting the light source for this version.

An additional wall light

The metal circle and simple globe suit modern and loft-style interiors. In a living room or bedroom, the lamp can supplement the main lighting; in a hallway, it provides a separate point of light on the wall. Whether it meets a particular task-lighting need depends on the required light level. The S designation identifies this size, not every lamp shown in shared collection photographs.
