DOHA P/M FDOPT2 Ceiling Light, Gray-Brown, Gea Luce

Three flat, intersecting bars give the Gea Luce DOHA P/M FDOPT2 ceiling light its distinctive outline. Their grey-brown tortora finish contrasts with the pale diffuser. A white aluminium frame, aluminium detailing and double-satin methacrylate form a geometric fitting without a suspended shade.

A wide footprint with a shallow profile

The fitting measures 84 × 55 cm across the ceiling and projects just 4 cm below it. Compare both footprint measurements with the available ceiling area when choosing its position: a shallow profile does not mean a small overall fitting. The elongated arrangement and transverse bar remain prominent without hanging down into the room.

Straight edges and an absence of ornament suit modern and minimalist interiors. The grey-brown strips divide the pale diffuser rather than surrounding a conventional round shade. That layered, crossed-bar composition is the defining visual feature of this DOHA variant, with the metalwork remaining visible against the illuminated surface.

Warm-white general lighting and dimming

The integrated LEDs have a total power rating of 40 W; the assembly instructions identify two 20 W modules. The manufacturer specifies 3750 lm and a colour temperature of 3000 K. This is warm-white light, not a selection of switchable colour temperatures. Direct light enters the room through a broad 120° beam.

That distribution makes the fitting an option for general lighting in living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms, kitchens and circulation areas. It does not automatically replace a directional reading lamp or dedicated worktop lighting. Phase-cut dimming and Push control are supported, but the control components are not included. Allow for their selection when planning the electrical installation.

Installation and cleaning

DOHA is intended for ceiling mounting indoors. The instructions require installation by qualified personnel and disconnection of the mains before work begins. For cleaning, the manufacturer recommends a damp cloth with mild detergent followed by gentle drying with a soft cloth. Keep water and detergent away from the electrical components.
