The Elstead Harper HK-HARPER-SFS-HB-CS is a three-light semi-flush ceiling fitting with E27 lamp holders. At 36.6 cm in diameter and 25.3 cm high, it gives a room a defined decorative centre without the drop of a pendant. It belongs to the Harper family and is specified by the maker for interior locations.
Material character
The steel frame is finished in Heritage Brass, a warm aged-brass tone. Its clear seeded-glass diffuser has a deliberately textured, bubble-like surface. A prominent metal ring and decorative knobs organise the shape around the glass. Those details explain the fixture’s retro character while its compact, ceiling-close format keeps the silhouette practical for everyday interiors.
Light source and installation
Harper takes three E27 bulbs, which are not supplied. The stated maximum wattage is 60 W. The fitting is compatible with dimmable bulbs, so dimming depends on the selected bulbs and a compatible installation. It uses 220–240 V mains power and is Class I. These are useful selection points when planning a ceiling light rather than an integrated-LED fixture.
Planning the room
The 36.6 cm diameter is suited to a bedroom or dining area that needs a central ceiling light. Its modest 25.3 cm fitting height can also be useful in a living room or an entrance where a long pendant would be intrusive. Choose bulb colour temperature and output for the intended atmosphere; bulbs are a separate purchase.
