Endon Dedicated Reader 99774 is a reading floor lamp with a narrow cylindrical head on a short horizontal arm. Its steel body has a warm brass-plated finish, with a slender upright stem and a round base. The push-button control sits on the head rather than down at floor level.
Position the light beside your seat
The adjustable head lets you change the direction of the light relative to your book and chair. Endon specifies this lamp as a companion to a sofa or armchair, making it an option for a reading position in a living room or study, or beside a bedroom reading chair. It stands on the floor; it is not a small bedside lamp intended to sit on a table.
The integrated COB LED is included and operates at 4 W, with a stated output of 220 lm and a colour temperature of 3000 K. This is warm-white, local lighting rather than a promise to illuminate the whole room. You do not need to choose an E27 bulb. The push button switches the lamp on and controls three-stage dimming, so brightness changes in steps rather than continuously.
Check the space around the chair
The lamp is 125 cm high, 18.5 cm wide and 29 cm deep. Compare these measurements with the available space beside your furniture, allowing for the projecting arm and head rather than considering only the slim stem. Place the base on a stable, flat surface and route the black cable away from walking routes. The straight lines and cylindrical head suit modern and minimalist interiors. Brass describes the plated finish, not a solid-brass construction.
Power supply, assembly and care
An LED driver is supplied for this Class III lamp. Documentation for this product code specifies a UK three-pin plug-in driver; check compatibility with your socket before ordering. Do not replace the driver with an ordinary mains plug. Assemble the lamp fully before connecting it, and do not use it in a bathroom. Before adjustment or cleaning, disconnect the supply and allow ten minutes for cooling. The manufacturer specifies a dry cloth only, with no liquid or abrasive cleaners.
