Endon Newham 96220 is a narrow wall light with a chrome-plated frame and clear ribbed glass. Two lamp positions sit one above the other inside its elongated rectangular body. The vertical glass texture remains visible when the light is off, enclosed by smooth metal edges.

Allow space beside the mirror

The fitting is 31.5 cm high and 7.5 cm wide, with a projection of 7.5 cm from the wall. These dimensions help assess the available wall strip alongside a mirror. Compare them with the mirror edge, adjacent fittings and the opening path of any nearby doors before choosing the position. The narrow width does not establish how much light a basin area will receive.

Newham is intended for supplementary bathroom lighting. Its form can also be considered as a decorative wall light in a living room, bedroom or dining area. The chrome finish and regular glass lines suit contemporary interiors. There is no opaque shade hiding the light sources; the bulbs you select determine the resulting brightness and light colour.

Choose two separate G9 bulbs

Endon specifies two G9 LED bulbs, each rated at a maximum of 3 W. Bulbs are not included, so allow for two compatible sources when ordering. This is a replaceable-bulb fitting rather than a fixed LED module with a predetermined colour temperature or light output.

Dimming requires dimmable bulbs and compatible controls. The fitting's dimmable designation does not make every G9 LED suitable for a dimmer. Check the bulb and control specifications together before purchase. Because the clear glass leaves the sources visible, their physical appearance also matters.

Bathroom installation and care

The IP44 rating and instructions confirm use in bathroom zone 2 and outside the zones. The instructions require a 30 mA RCD in a room containing a bath or shower. An electrician should assess the precise location and connection against local regulations. This is a Class II, double-insulated fitting.

Isolate the supply before changing bulbs and let them cool down. For cleaning, use a dry cloth. Liquid cleaners and abrasives are excluded by the instructions. Cracked or broken glass must be replaced.
