Gea Luce MELANIA FMEPN1 white LED ceiling light 30 cm 4000 K

Gea Luce MELANIA FMEPN1 is a round LED ceiling light with a white-painted aluminium body and a satin methacrylate diffuser. Its broad circular face includes a smaller, off-centre circular feature rather than presenting a completely plain disc. This is the 30 cm version with neutral-white 4000 K light.

A shallow fitting with two distinct diameters

The overall height is 6 cm, so there is no hanging cable or suspended shade to allow for when planning the space beneath it. The manufacturer's drawing also shows a 24 cm rear body behind the wider front. Compare both outlines with the ceiling connection point and the available mounting area before choosing its position.

The low-profile format suits general lighting in a hallway, corridor, dressing room, kitchen or living space. In a study it can provide overhead light alongside a separate task light at the desk. The number of fittings needed should follow the room's size and layout; the diameter alone does not establish whether one light will illuminate an entire room.

Neutral-white light with simple switching

The integrated LED source is rated at 30 W. Gea Luce specifies 1600 lm and direct light distribution with a 120° beam angle. This is a broad distribution rather than a narrow spotlight intended to pick out one object. The fixed 4000 K colour temperature matters when matching other lights in the same space: this code does not identify the warm-white 3000 K version.

FMEPN1 operates by switching on and off and is not dimmable. There is no separate screw-base bulb to select for initial use, because the LED source forms part of the fitting. Choose a different solution if the lighting plan requires continuously adjustable brightness.

White circular forms for a modern interior

The restrained geometry and absence of suspended decoration support modern and minimalist schemes. The manufacturer specifies indoor ceiling installation and a 220–240 V AC supply. The installation instructions require the power to be disconnected before work and the electrical connection to be made by a qualified person.
