Gea Luce DAFNE S/3P FDA3PR LED pendant, 3 lights, copper finish

Gea Luce DAFNE S/3P FDA3PR is a linear pendant with three slender aluminium bodies in a copper finish. A satin black ceiling canopy connects the pendants. Copper describes the surface colour; the bodies themselves are aluminium.

Three pendants and the canopy dimensions

Each light body is 40 cm high and has a bottom diameter of 3.2 cm. The canopy measures 60 × 4.5 × 3.5 cm, so compare its length with the available space over a table or kitchen island. The simple arrangement of three narrow elements suits modern and minimalist interiors.

The maximum overall height is 145 cm. This includes the suspension rather than describing the height of the aluminium bodies alone. When planning a position above a table, the lower ends can be approximately 70–80 cm above the surface; compare the resulting drop with your ceiling height.

Warm white light directed downwards

The integrated LEDs produce warm white light at 3000 K. The manufacturer specifies 16.5 W and 612 lm. A 38° beam is directed downwards from the ends of the three pendants, concentrating light beneath the fitting. This is useful for lighting a dining table or the work surface of a kitchen island.

A CRI above 90 means faithful colour rendering when viewing food and materials under the light. The built-in modules determine the light colour, rather than bulbs selected separately. The fitting is not dimmable and operates by switching on and off.

LED sources and driver included

The LED sources and driver are supplied. Integrated modules are not replaced with ordinary screw-in bulbs, so there is no need to choose E14 or E27 bulbs for this fitting. The manufacturer gives a source life of 30 000 h.

The light is intended for indoor use on 220–240 V. Class I construction requires a protective earth connection, and the instructions specify installation by a qualified person.
