Gea Luce GPL272N is a round LED ceiling light with a matt black aluminium body and a white methacrylate diffuser face. A shallow cylindrical rim surrounds the light-emitting surface, with no arms, hanging flex or exposed bulbs. The fitting measures 25 cm in diameter and 5.2 cm in height.
A black outline close to the ceiling
These dimensions help establish the space needed around the electrical outlet. Compare the 25 cm diameter with the available ceiling area before choosing its position. At 5.2 cm deep, the body sits close to the ceiling rather than hanging into the room like a pendant. The matt sidewall and plain pale diffuser give the fitting a geometric appearance suited to modern and minimalist interiors; the black edge remains visible when viewed from the side.
Neutral white light, switched rather than dimmed
The integrated LED module is rated at 30 W and 4000 K, with a declared luminous flux of 2460 lm. Its colour temperature is neutral white, rather than the warmer appearance associated with a 2700 K source. Light is directed downwards across a 110° beam. Consider it for general lighting in a hallway, corridor, kitchen, dressing room or living space. The required number of fittings depends on room dimensions and layout: a lumen figure alone does not establish the illumination at every point.
GPL272N has on/off operation and is not dimmable. Account for this if your circuit uses a dimmer or if you want a separate, lower evening light level in a bedroom. Both the LED module and transformer are included, so there is no screw-base bulb to select separately.
Installation and cleaning
The manufacturer specifies indoor ceiling installation and a 220–240 V AC supply. The instructions require installation by qualified personnel and isolation from the mains before work. For cleaning, they specify a damp cloth with mild detergent, followed by gentle drying. Keep water and cleaning solution away from cables and electrical components.
