The Italux Rumio PND-23917-BK is a black LED pendant with a curved light line that folds across itself. Metal alloy and acrylic form an open, looping body rather than a conventional shade. Slender suspension wires connect this sculptural lower section to a round ceiling canopy.
Allow for the whole pendant, not just its body
The decorative body measures 50 cm in diameter and 15 cm in height. Italux lists an overall height of 120 cm, which includes the suspension rather than describing the illuminated body alone. Compare that full drop with your ceiling height and the position of the furniture before choosing where it will hang.
Its circular footprint can work above a table or within a living area. Where people walk underneath, the remaining clearance matters as much as the diameter. The gaps between the curved elements leave the background visible, making the outline quite different from a solid dome or fabric shade.
Choose the white-light colour before installation
The LED light source is included, so there is no screw-in bulb to select separately. The manufacturer specifies 40 W and a luminous flux of 3400 lm. The available colour temperatures are 3000 K, 4000 K and 6000 K: warm, neutral and cool white respectively.
The colour is selected before the fitting is installed. This should not be confused with remote control or everyday switching between colour settings. Rumio is not dimmable, so a dimmer-based brightness adjustment should not be part of the intended setup.
A visible black outline in a modern interior
The interwoven curves, exposed spaces and black frame support modern and modernist schemes. Italux identifies living rooms, bedrooms, studies, dining rooms, halls, kitchens and children's rooms as applications. Within any of these spaces, check the actual hanging dimensions rather than treating a matching finish as proof of fit.
