Jupiter DOMINO 1537 black pendant lamp with glass shade, 1×E27

Jupiter DOMINO 1537 is a single-light pendant with a black suspension and a transparent glass shade that widens towards the bottom. A pale, visibly grained section finishes the top of the shade. Black therefore describes the suspension components rather than every surface of the lamp. The manufacturer lists steel and glass as the fixture materials.

A shade that leaves the bulb in view

The clear glass makes the bulb visible even when the lamp is switched off, so its shape becomes part of the pendant's appearance. Choosing a bulb is consequently an aesthetic decision as well as a lighting decision. There is no opaque diffuser to conceal the bulb. The open lower edge and simple tapered outline distinguish DOMINO from enclosed shades and multi-arm chandeliers.

A single E27 socket accepts a replaceable light source rated at no more than 15 W. The bulb is not included; the product photograph illustrates the lamp with an example fitted. Allow for purchasing the light source separately. Its specifications determine brightness and light colour: the black finish of the suspension does not set either of these properties.

Check the space below the pendant

The fixture measures 80 cm in height, with a width and depth of 23 cm each. Before choosing its position, compare these dimensions with the distance between your ceiling and tabletop, and with the clearance you want to retain below the shade. A width of 23 cm makes a single pendant an option over a smaller surface. Several separate fittings can also be considered along a longer table or kitchen island, with their number selected according to the surface dimensions and the bulbs being used.

Black lines with a warmer visual detail

The straightforward suspension and transparent shade suit a modern interior. The pale grained detail also offers a connection to Scandinavian furnishings without implying an unverified material composition. Consider DOMINO above a dining table, in a kitchen, or as a decorative pendant in a living room or bedroom. The manufacturer specifies indoor use and states a five-year warranty.
