Keter Lighting KIRA 185 pendant light, black, 1×E27, 52 cm

KIRA BLACK 185 by Keter Lighting is a black pendant light with an open geometric metal shade. Straight rods outline a wide, faceted shape that narrows at the top and again around its lower edge. A single bulb remains visible in the centre, while the black ceiling canopy and cable continue the colour of the metal frame.

Allow room for a 52 cm outline

The manufacturer specifies a length and width of 52 cm and a height of 120 cm. Compare these measurements with your dining table or kitchen island and the distance to nearby furniture before deciding on a mounting position. An open framework still occupies its full outline: the shade needs space at its sides, despite being see-through.

KIRA can be considered above a dining table, over a kitchen island or in a living area. In a bedroom or hotel room, plan for the width rather than treating it as a small bedside pendant. Compare the stated height with the ceiling height and the clearance you want beneath the fitting.

Choose the visible bulb separately

The fitting has one E27 socket and a maximum bulb wattage of 60 W. No bulb is included, even though the product photograph shows one inside the shade. Its shape contributes to the appearance even when switched off, because the metal rods do not conceal it behind a solid lampshade.

Brightness and light colour depend on the light source you choose, not on the black fitting itself. Check the bulb's own specifications and stay within the fitting's wattage limit. The photograph does not show an opal cover shielding the light source, so take its visibility from a seated position into account when placing it above a table.

Black metal for a loft-style interior

The exposed bulb, metal framework and clean lines support industrial, loft, modern and minimalist schemes. The design is defined by one geometric shade rather than decorative chandelier arms. KIRA is intended for indoor use; a suitable position over an indoor table does not make it suitable for an exposed terrace.
