The Lofoten 1947BL is a complete garden lamp: two square lanterns on a cross arm, mounted on a telescopic pole. The cast-aluminium and steel body is powder-coated black, and the lanterns have panes of clear safety glass through which the bulb is visible.
What is in the set and how it is mounted
The set consists of the twin-lantern fitting (art. 2013) and the lighting pole (art. 3011), so there is no need to choose a pole separately. The pole is telescopic — its height is set during installation. The arm with the lanterns spans 72 cm and each lantern measures 19 × 19 cm in section; compare this with the width of the path or border where the lamp will stand.
The pole foot has three ø10.5 mm holes spaced at 120° on a 207 mm circle. Anchors are not included: the manufacturer offers a concrete-in anchor (405) and a ground anchor (406) separately — the choice depends on whether the lamp will stand on a concrete foundation or in a lawn.
Light sources
Each lantern has an E27 socket, two in total. The manufacturer allows LED lamps of up to 11 W each, in the A55–A60 shape — a larger decorative globe bulb will not fit inside the lantern. The bulbs are not included: they are bought separately, they decide the colour and brightness of the light, and the user replaces them.
Outdoors
IP44 means protection against splashing water from any direction, so the lamp can stand in the garden in the rain. It is a protection class II fitting — double-insulated, with no protective earth conductor required. The manufacturer intends it for lighting gardens and parks.
Rectangular lanterns in thin black frames are a classic, simple form that also suits industrial and loft-style architecture.
