Luces Exclusivas COMITAN LE42838 LED ceiling light, matt white, 45 cm

Luces Exclusivas COMITAN LE42838 is a round LED ceiling light with a matt white finish. Its shallow body has a clearly defined ring around a broad central face, rather than a suspended shade or decorative arms. The manufacturer lists aluminium and acrylic as the materials for this version.

A broad footprint without a hanging shade

The fitting measures 45 cm in diameter and just 5 cm in height. Consider those measurements separately: it occupies a fairly broad circle on the ceiling, but does not extend down into the room like a pendant. Before choosing it, compare its diameter with the intended mounting position and nearby ceiling features.

This low-profile format can be considered for general lighting in a hallway, corridor, walk-in wardrobe or staircase. It can serve the same purpose in a living room, bedroom, dining room, kitchen, study or children's room. In an attic room, also check the shape and slope of the surface where the fitting will be mounted.

An included LED source in warm white

The light source is included and integrated into the fitting, so there is no separate screw-base bulb to select. The manufacturer specifies a 30 W LED source, a source luminous flux of 1590 lm and a colour temperature of 3000 K. That colour temperature denotes warm white rather than cool white light.

Use luminous flux, not wattage alone, when planning the room's lighting. Whether one fitting is sufficient depends on the room size, mounting height and other light sources. Assess local lighting separately for a kitchen worktop or reading position: COMITAN has no adjustable spotlight for aiming light at a specific task.

Matt white with a simple circular outline

The flat profile, plain ring and lack of ornament support modern and minimalist arrangements. LE42838 identifies the matt white version specifically. When ordering several fittings, check the complete article code rather than relying on the COMITAN family name alone.
