Mantra NISEKO II 8640 black LED ceiling light 78 cm with remote control

Mantra NISEKO II 8640 is a black LED ceiling light measuring 78 cm across, with a steel and acrylic construction. Its broad pale ring surrounds a recessed centre, while the dark outer edge defines the circular outline. This version includes a remote control for adjusting brightness and white-light colour temperature.

A broad footprint without a suspended shade

The fitting has an overall height of 9.5 cm. It occupies a substantial area of the ceiling without dropping into the room like a pendant. Before choosing a position, compare its 78 cm diameter with the clear ceiling space and check the distance from opening doors, tall cupboards and other fittings. The height is fixed rather than adjustable.

The manufacturer's instructions show a cross-shaped ceiling bracket. With a net weight of 5.9 kg, the fixing arrangement needs to suit the supporting surface. A shallow profile alone does not establish compatibility with every type of ceiling construction.

Change the white light using the supplied remote

The R00135 radio remote operates at 2.4 GHz. It provides dimming and colour-temperature adjustment from 2700 to 5000 K, covering warm white through to a cooler white appearance. Changing the light colour does not require changing the source. Mantra specifies an LED power of 62 W and a luminous flux of 4700 lm. Actual illumination at a particular point also depends on the fitting's position and the room layout.

The LED source is included and identified as replaceable by the manufacturer. This is not a fitting that requires a separate ordinary screw-base bulb. The electrical connection is designed for 220–240 V; its class I construction requires a protective earth connection.

General lighting with a restrained circular design

The smooth steel perimeter and absence of decorative arms support modern and minimalist interiors. Consider it for general lighting in a living room, bedroom, dining room, kitchen, study or office. In an entrance hall or corridor, check that the available width suits the large diameter. Desk and worktop lighting should be assessed separately rather than assuming that a large ceiling fitting will meet every local task-lighting requirement.
