Mantra NORTH 8730 combines a black ceiling fan and LED light with three transparent retractable blades. The circular lighting unit remains the centre of the fitting, while the extended blades change its overall outline. Steel and ABS construction, with polycarbonate blades, gives the design a contemporary, technical character.
Adjust the white light and brightness
The included 40 W LED source offers colour temperatures from 3000 to 6500 K. You can therefore choose warm or cool white without replacing the source. Dimming is controlled with the supplied infrared remote. This lets you consider light intensity and white-light appearance separately when choosing a setting, rather than being restricted to one fixed combination.
Mantra specifies 2500 lm of luminaire output and separately lists 4200 lm as the source's 360° output. These are not the minimum and maximum dimming levels. When comparing NORTH with another light, use equivalent output measurements rather than treating the two figures as a brightness range.
Six fan speeds for a smaller room
The 28 W DC motor provides six speeds and summer/winter operation. Mantra recommends rooms smaller than 13 m², making this a candidate for a smaller living room, bedroom or home study rather than a fitting to select for a large space on appearance alone. The stated noise range is 30–48 dB; the fan should not be understood as silent.
The technical drawing distinguishes the 43 cm lighting-unit diameter from the 91 cm span with blades extended. Plan the position around the larger dimension, not just the circular lamp body.
Check the ceiling before choosing
NORTH is intended for a level ceiling, not a sloping mounting surface. The illustrated 12.5 and 25 cm downrods represent alternative installation arrangements rather than continuous height adjustment during use. Its dark circular body and transparent blades suit contemporary interiors where general lighting and air circulation are required at the same ceiling position.
