Mantra SAONA SUPERFICIE 6629 matt white LED ceiling light 12 × 12 cm 8 W 4000 K

Mantra SAONA SUPERFICIE 6629 is a small square LED ceiling light with a matt white housing and a pale diffuser. Its aluminium and acrylic construction measures 12 × 12 cm and mounts onto the ceiling surface. This is the 8 W, 4000 K version, rather than one of the larger fittings in the collection.

A shallow fitting, not a pendant

The housing projects 4 cm below the ceiling. There is no suspended shade or hanging cable, making the actual depth a useful comparison when you want a fitting that occupies little vertical space. Check its square footprint against the position of your electrical outlet and the ceiling area you intend the housing to cover.

The manufacturer's instructions show attachment using a ceiling bracket. This is a surface-mounted light, not a recessed fitting whose body sits inside a cut-out. Fixing arrangements must suit the construction of your particular ceiling; the shallow housing does not by itself establish compatibility with every stretch-ceiling installation.

Neutral white light without dimming

The included LED source provides 720 lm at 8 W. A colour temperature of 4000 K gives neutral white light, distinct from the warmer 3000 K version. If you are combining several fittings, checking this value helps keep their light colour consistent.

Model 6629 is not dimmable. For corridors and entrance halls, choose the number of fittings according to the length of the space and the lighting level you need. The 720 lm figure alone cannot tell you how much floor area one fitting will adequately illuminate. In a kitchen, it can form part of general ceiling lighting rather than being treated as a promised substitute for dedicated worktop lighting.

A simple square for modern interiors

Straight sides, a square outline and the absence of ornament suit modern and minimalist interiors. The matt white finish can be coordinated with a pale ceiling when you want the housing to remain visually secondary. The supply rating is 220–240 V at 50/60 Hz. The light source is included, so there is no separate screw-base bulb to choose.
