Mantra Saona Superficie 6628 matt white LED ceiling light 12 cm 8 W 3000 K

Mantra Saona Superficie 6628 is a square LED ceiling light with a matt white aluminium body and an acrylic light-diffusing face. A narrow frame surrounds the underside, while straight sides give it a restrained, technical appearance. This is the 8 W version with a warm white colour temperature of 3000 K, rather than the 4000 K option in the same family.

A 12 cm square for surface mounting

The fitting measures 12 × 12 cm and stands 4 cm high. It occupies a small area of ceiling without a hanging cable or suspended shade. When choosing its position, compare the footprint with the available ceiling space and clearance to neighbouring features. The white frame and shallow shape suit modern, minimalist interiors where a straight-edged fitting is preferred to a decorative pendant.

The installation drawing shows a bracket screwed to the support surface, with the body secured by side screws. This is a surface-mounted fitting, not a recessed panel for a ceiling cut-out. Fixings must suit the actual substrate; a shallow body alone does not establish suitability for a stretch ceiling.

Warm white light without dimming

The built-in LED source is rated at 8 W, with a declared luminous flux of 680 lm. Its 3000 K colour temperature matters when matching other lights in the same area. There is no separate screw-in bulb to choose. The fitting is not dimmable, so it should not be specified where adjustable brightness is required.

Its compact format can work as a lighting point in a hallway, entrance area or stairwell, or as part of a wider arrangement in a bedroom or living room. The required number of fittings depends on room size and the intended light level. A rating of 680 lm is not a guarantee that one fitting will illuminate an entire room adequately.

Servicing the light source

The documentation permits replacement of the LED module and driver by a qualified person. This is different from routine replacement of a household bulb. The light is intended for indoor use and connection to a 220–240 V mains supply.
