ODA C0193 is a white ceiling light with a round opal-glass shade and a narrow metal rim. Its smooth, closed lower surface covers three bulbs, while the opal glass diffuses the light passing through it. The cylindrical body sits against the ceiling without hanging cords.
40 cm diameter and 9 cm height
The fitting occupies a 40 cm circle on the ceiling and extends 9 cm below it. Compare the height with the space above doors or fitted furniture, and the diameter with the area around the electrical supply point. These are different measurements: 40 cm describes the span of the shade, while 9 cm is its distance below the ceiling plane. The proportions allow lighting to be planned without a long drop over an area people walk through.
Three separately chosen E27 bulbs
The fitting has three E27 holders, each accepting a bulb rated at no more than 40 W. Bulbs are not included. The limit applies to one bulb rather than being a fixed consumption for the complete ceiling light. Brightness and light colour are chosen through the bulbs: compare their lumen output and colour temperature to obtain similar light from all three. Opal glass itself does not determine the bulbs’ colour temperature.
The concealed bulbs and smooth shade create an uninterrupted lower surface. Looking towards the ceiling, the visible form is primarily a broad glass disc framed by a narrow metal edge.
IP44 for bathrooms and other interiors
The IP44 rating means protection against splashing water; the manufacturer also recommends ODA for bathrooms. Its plain white shape suits modern and minimalist interiors. It can also light a living room, bedroom, kitchen, hallway or corridor where a fitting without a pendant drop is useful.
