Maytoni Hoop white surface-mounted ceiling light GX53 C086CL-GX53-SRD-W Promo Code - MAY20 until the end of Oct 31

Maytoni Hoop C086CL-GX53-SRD-W is a white surface-mounted ceiling light with one GX53 socket. Its short cylindrical body combines aluminium and plastic, with smooth sides and a distinct lower ring. This is a fitting for a replaceable GX53 lamp rather than a luminaire with a permanently integrated LED module.

A 5 cm profile at the ceiling

The body measures 5 cm high and 8.5 cm in diameter. These measurements describe the fitting itself, not the area it will illuminate. Compare the diameter with your ceiling connection point and the height with the available clearance above furnishings. Hoop stays close to the ceiling, without a suspended cable or projecting arms.

The official instruction shows a separate base fixed to the ceiling, the electrical connection and assembly of the body with the light source. Its surface-mounted construction differs from a recessed downlight. The 8.5 cm diameter should therefore not be used as a ceiling cut-out measurement.

Choose the GX53 lamp for the required light

Maytoni specifies one light point and a power rating of 12 W. The wattage does not state a lumen output or guarantee enough light for an entire room. When selecting a compatible GX53 lamp, check its colour temperature and lumen rating as well. Those figures help you choose the light colour and amount of light for the intended role.

The manufacturer lists this version as non-dimmable, so it should not be treated as a ready-made solution for a dimmer-controlled circuit. Its supply specification is 220–240 V AC at 50 Hz. Replacing the lamp does not alter the body's dimensions or mounting arrangement.

A compact component in a lighting plan

The white finish, plain cylinder and absence of decorative arms support a modern appearance. Hoop can be considered within a lighting scheme for a living room, bedroom, kitchen, dining room or hotel room. Select the number of fittings and lamp output for the actual space rather than assuming one light point provides all the illumination required. Maytoni states a five-year warranty for this model.
