Nordlux Pine pendant light, black

The black Nordlux Pine pendant has a conical metal shade with a slender brass-coloured detail above it. Elongated openings around the lower rim and perforations at the top distinguish it from a fully enclosed shade. Pine is the series name, not a reference to pinewood: this version has a metal construction.

A 30 cm shade above a table

The manufacturer's drawing gives a diameter of 30 cm and a height of 31 cm for the lower lamp assembly. Compare those measurements with your table width and the space above the surface rather than judging scale from a photograph alone. The open underside provides a path for downward light, while the cut-outs remain a visible part of the shade's design.

This suspended form suits a dining table or kitchen island, or a separate lighting position in a living room or bedroom. It can serve the same purpose above a restaurant table or in a hotel room. The actual brightness depends on the bulb you choose; the shade diameter does not tell you how much light the fitting produces.

Choose the E27 bulb separately

Pine has one E27 socket and the bulb is not supplied. The maximum permitted bulb wattage is 40 W, rather than a fixed power consumption for the fitting. You can select the bulb's lumen output and light colour independently when buying it. This pendant is intended for indoor use.

Ceiling connection and contrasting details

A canopy and 200 cm cable are included. The canopy measures 12.5 cm across and 8.5 cm high. The mounting instructions show a connection to the electrical installation and fixing to the ceiling; mounting screws are excluded. Cable length should not be confused with the shade's own height.

Matt black metal, perforated edges and the warm-toned stem suit industrial and loft interiors. The simple cone also works alongside Scandinavian furnishings when a distinct black fitting is wanted without ornate decoration.
