NORLYS Astrid 2221CS LED garden bollard 55 cm, corten finish, 2700 K

NORLYS Astrid 2221CS is a 55 cm garden bollard with vertical ribs surrounding a milky diffuser. Its body is made from extruded, powder-coated aluminium. The CS designation identifies the corten-coloured finish, approximately RAL 8011; it does not mean that the housing is made of weathering steel.

Light at path and terrace level

The integrated LED produces warm white light at 2700 K, dispersed through a PMMA diffuser. The complete luminaire delivers 265 lm. This is distinct from the 2057 lm quoted separately for the LED module itself: when planning the installation, the luminaire figure describes the light that actually leaves the fitting.

The low bollard format suits positioning beside an access path, a terrace edge or a driveway. Its footprint measures 14 × 14 cm. Check the proposed location against the available walking width and the swing of nearby doors rather than placing the post within a circulation route. Repeated vertical lines and the restrained outline support modern, minimalist and Scandinavian garden schemes, while the rusty brown finish provides the colour rather than indicating a different construction material.

Dimming and servicing the light source

The fitting consumes 14.6 W and operates from a 220–240 V supply. It supports leading-edge and trailing-edge TRIAC phase dimming, so the control equipment must be selected for that method. No screw-base bulb needs to be purchased. The installation manual permits replacement of the LED light source and control gear by a professional. This is a service operation for the manufacturer, its service agent or a similarly qualified person, not a routine user bulb change.

Fixings and separately purchased accessories

IP65 provides dust protection and resistance to water jets. Mounting uses three 9 mm holes spaced at 120° around a 65 mm pitch circle. Fixing screws are not included according to the manual; anchors and mounting adapters are also sold separately. Choose the foundation arrangement and fasteners for the actual supporting surface, and have installation and servicing carried out by a qualified installer.
