NORLYS Bologna 364WH White Garden Lamp Post RAL 9003, Three E27 Globes, Telescopic 165–254 cm

Bologna 364WH is a complete garden lamp post: a telescopic pole topped by a head with three clear, globe-shaped diffusers on arms. The powder-coated cast aluminium body is white (RAL 9003) and the globes are clear PMMA plastic. The manufacturer describes its design as classic and intends it for gardens and parks.

Height, width and mounting

The height adjusts telescopically from 165 to 254 cm and the three-globe head is 65 cm wide – two dimensions to compare with the spot by the path or on the lawn where the post will stand. The set comprises the lantern head (art. 3025), the terminal (art. 3040) and the pole (art. 3010); together they weigh 11.02 kg.

The base is bolted through three ø10.5 mm holes spaced at 120° on a ø240 mm circle. The concrete foundation, the concreting anchor, the ground anchor and the mounting adapters are sold separately, so the type of footing has to be chosen before ordering. The terminals take conductors up to 4 × 2.5 mm² and allow the supply to be looped on to the next post; the round sheathed cable can be 6–12.5 mm in diameter.

Light source

Each of the three globes has an E27 socket for an A55–A60 bulb, the standard pear shape, and the manufacturer allows LED up to 9 W per socket. No bulbs are included, so you choose colour and brightness yourself; as an order option the manufacturer lists the dimmable Philips Master LEDbulb 806 lm / 8.5 W / 2700 K, warm light as bright as an old 60 W bulb. The globes are clear, so the bulb stays visible through them.

Weather resistance and protection class

IP54 means protection against dust and splashing water from any direction, so the post can stand in the open. It is protection class II and needs no protective earth. The side area of the luminaire is 0.18 m² – the value used when assessing wind load. The globe is available as a service kit (06360008), so a damaged one is replaced without buying a whole new post.
