NORLYS Lillehammer DC1581CB LED Outdoor Wall Light, Copper Brown RAL 8004, 24 V DC

NORLYS Lillehammer DC1581CB is a rectangular outdoor wall light with two LED modules directing light upwards and downwards. The CB version has a copper-brown RAL 8004 finish. Its body is powder-coated cast aluminium, rather than a copper housing.

Two beams for the wall surface

Both beams have a 60° angle, making this the wide, two-direction version rather than an alternative description of a narrow-beam model. The 3000 K colour temperature produces warm white light. The two modules consume 7.2 W in total, while the complete luminaire delivers 231 lm. That output is measured after the optical system; the 1064 lm figure quoted for the light sources should not be mistaken for the output of the assembled fitting.

The light distribution is intended to highlight wall surfaces and architectural details. When specifying it beside a terrace or balcony, allow for the upward and downward beams rather than treating it as a fitting that illuminates equally in every direction. Positioning should follow the part of the façade that you want to illuminate.

Plan a 24 V DC supply

DC1581CB requires an external constant-voltage 24 V DC power supply. It must not be connected directly to a 230 V mains circuit. The LED modules support dimming, but external control needs to be selected as part of the installation design. The manufacturer specifies professional servicing for light-source replacement; this is not a fitting with a conventional user-replaceable bulb.

A plain rectangular body for outdoor mounting

The housing is 18.5 cm high, 8 cm wide and 11 cm deep. Check that projection against the space available at the proposed mounting point. Two 5 mm mounting holes are arranged at 45 × 130 mm centres. Installation must follow the manufacturer's instructions.

Optical safety glass covers the light openings. The fitting is rated IP65 and IK08 for ingress and impact protection respectively. Its unornamented geometric form supports modern and minimalist façades, with copper-brown referring to the coated surface rather than the underlying metal.
