Norlys Nidaros 2126AL outdoor ceiling light aluminium RAL 9006 LED 2700 K

The Norlys Nidaros 2126AL is an outdoor ceiling light with a short cylindrical body and a recessed reflector. Its cast aluminium housing is powder-coated in aluminium RAL 9006. Clear safety glass covers the optical opening, with a dark reflector surround contrasting against the silver-coloured exterior.

A defined beam, not a diffuse ceiling glow

Light is directed downwards through a 24° beam. This makes the fitting a choice for highlighting a selected surface rather than a direct replacement for a broad, opal-covered ceiling light. When illuminating a wall or façade, consider both the mounting height and the distance from that surface: these determine where the beam lands and the size of its illuminated area.

The integrated LED module provides warm white light at 2700 K. The complete luminaire delivers 584 lm; the separate 1000 lm figure describes the light source before the optics, not the output leaving the fitting. CRI 90 specifies colour rendering, while total power consumption is 10.6 W. TE/LE phase-cut dimming allows brightness adjustment when the chosen control is compatible with the AC LED module.

Plan the mounting position around its dimensions

The body measures 12 cm in diameter and 9 cm in height. It attaches to a horizontal surface through two mounting holes, following the manufacturer's instructions. Compare these dimensions with the available space beneath a terrace or gazebo ceiling, then plan the beam position in relation to the façade.

IP65 protection and IK06 impact resistance support outdoor use. Connection to the 220–240 V supply and sealing of the cable entry must follow the installation manual. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician.

Included light source and professional replacement

No separate bulb is required: the LED source is included in the luminaire. Replacement is a professional service task, unlike changing a user-replaceable E27 bulb. The 3084XX0009 spacer is sold separately. The restrained cylindrical form suits modern, minimalist exterior schemes where a defined light direction matters more than an ornamental shade.
