NORLYS Nora 2466CS LED outdoor wall light 4000K DALI2/TD, corten brown

NORLYS Nora 2466CS is a square outdoor wall light made from cast aluminium, finished in corten brown, similar to RAL 8011. The plain front measures 13 × 13 cm, and the body projects 5 cm from the wall. This version has transparent safety glass and two LED modules that direct diffused light upwards and downwards.

Lighting the wall in two directions

The glass sections on both sides of the body allow light to leave above and below the fitting. The manufacturer specifies it for lighting walls and façades, so both directions of light need to be considered when choosing the mounting height. Its square proportions and small 5 cm projection can be compared with the available space beside a doorway or on the front of a building.

Corten brown describes the colour of the powder coating on the aluminium body, rather than its structural material. The simple shape without decorative arms suits Scandinavian, modern and minimalist settings. IP65 provides protection against dust and water jets, making the fitting appropriate for outdoor use.

Neutral white light and DALI2/TD control

Both LED modules produce neutral white light at 4000 K. The complete fitting delivers 830 lm and draws 10.3 W. This figure is the combined light output leaving the fitting in both directions, rather than an output assigned separately to each side.

An electronic driver supporting DALI2/TD is included. This method of regulating the light needs to be considered when designing the electrical installation and selecting the controls. There are no separate bulbs to buy. The LED modules and control gear can be replaced by a professional service technician.

Mounting and electrical connection

The fitting is secured through two holes of 5 mm diameter, spaced at 63 × 112 mm. Check these centres against the prepared position on the wall before drilling. The terminals accept conductors up to 5 × 2.5 mm², with loop-through wiring up to 5 × 1.5 mm². Installation and servicing require a qualified person. Class I construction requires a protective earth connection.
