Nowodvorski IKA A 4171 is a pendant light with an open plywood shade in a natural wood colour. Curved vertical ribs form an elongated outline, narrowing at the top and widening around the bulb. Painted steel completes the construction, while the single light source remains visible through the spaces between the ribs.
A narrow shade above a table
The shade measures 24 cm across and 39 cm high; the maximum overall height of the pendant is 135 cm. Before placing it above a dining table or kitchen island, compare these dimensions with your ceiling height and the clearance you want above the surface. Its narrow shape is worth considering for a smaller area, or as several separate pendants along a longer table. Each item is one pendant with one light point, not a multi-pendant set.
Choose the bulb separately
The E27 holder takes one LED bulb rated at no more than 25 W. A bulb is not included. This wattage is the permitted bulb limit rather than the consumption of a supplied lighting assembly. You choose the colour temperature and light output when buying the bulb; the illuminated photograph does not define those specifications for your chosen source.
The open ribs do not conceal the bulb like a solid shade. Consider its visible shape and your view of it from a seated position as well as the correct cap when making that selection.
Wood detailing and ceiling installation
The repeated plywood ribs and open construction suit the Scandinavian character of the IKA collection and can also accompany boho interiors. It can serve as a decorative pendant in a living room, bedroom or dining area.
This indoor light is intended for direct mounting and a 220–230 V supply. Electrical connection must be carried out by an appropriately qualified person. The package contains the fitting, user instructions and assembly instructions. For mounting plans, distinguish the 1.01 kg net weight of the light from its 1.36 kg packed gross weight.
