The Nowodvorski MONO S 10781 is a single-light surface-mounted ceiling fitting with a narrow cylindrical body. Its painted steel housing has a satin copper P024 finish. Copper describes the coating's colour here: the fitting is not presented as a solid copper luminaire.
A 12 cm cylinder below the ceiling
The body measures 12 cm high and 5.5 cm wide. With direct surface mounting, the cylinder remains visible below the ceiling rather than disappearing into it, so allow for that projection when choosing its position. There are no arms or decorative shades around the light opening. This restrained geometry suits modern and modernist interiors, while the satin copper finish distinguishes this particular MONO S variant.
The opening is at the bottom of the cylinder. It can form part of a point-lighting layout in a hallway, living room, bedroom, kitchen or dining room, or supplement lighting in an office or study. Decide the number and spacing of fittings from the room dimensions and the bulbs you select. A single light point does not establish that one fitting will illuminate the entire room.
Choose the GU10 bulb separately
MONO S uses one replaceable GU10 R50 light source. No bulb is included. Choose an LED bulb rated at no more than 10 W; this is the permitted bulb power limit, not a brightness figure or a fixed energy consumption for the fitting.
The selected bulb determines colour temperature, light output and beam angle. Compare those specifications when arranging several cylinders together to achieve the intended light distribution. The photograph showing the fitting switched on illustrates its appearance, rather than promising the same light colour from a separately purchased bulb.
Connection and surface care
The package contains the luminaire and instructions. Connection to the 220–230 V installation should be carried out by a suitably qualified person following the manufacturer's instructions. Switch off and allow the fitting to cool before cleaning. Use a lightly damp cloth, keep moisture away from electrical connections and switch on again only after it has dried completely.
