Paul Neuhaus ELIZA 6283-79 is a square LED ceiling light combining a black frame with an oiled oak element. Four black rectangles of different sizes have illuminated outlines, while a separate band of light follows the outer part of the fitting. The wood grain remains visible within this geometric arrangement.

Choose the centre, the perimeter or both

Two LED modules are supplied as part of the light, serving its inner and outer illuminated sections. Switching with a regular wall switch allows both sections to operate together, the centre alone or the perimeter alone. This changes the pattern of illumination rather than its colour temperature. It is a useful distinction when comparing ceiling lights with selectable lighting zones: ELIZA is not a fitting that requires a choice of separate screw-in bulbs.

The LEDs produce warm white light at 3000 K. The manufacturer gives an effective output of 1800 lm for the complete fitting, separately from the 5760 lm figure for the LED sources. Use the fitting output when comparing room lighting, since the source figure does not describe the light emerging from the finished construction. Total power consumption is 55 W. Selecting a different section does not turn the light from warm white to cool white.

A 48 cm square without a hanging cable

The fitting measures 48 cm in both length and width, with a height of 7 cm. Unlike a pendant, it does not hang down on a cable. Before ordering, compare its square outline with the available ceiling area and any nearby fittings. The manufacturer's instructions show bracket mounting and connection to a 230 V supply.

Oak grain within a black outline

The contrast between oiled oak and straight black edges suits modern, minimalist and Scandinavian interiors, particularly where wood and black details already appear in the furnishings.
