Sigma Sopel 10 Antresola is a pendant light with ten steel tubes in black and gold. The tubes descend progressively to form a long cascade. Each tube is 50 cm long and just 2.5 cm in diameter, giving the cluster a slender outline even with ten separate light points.
Plan the drop for a tall space
The maximum overall height is 250 cm, with a width and depth of 44 cm. The suspension height is adjustable, so compare the drop with the distance from your ceiling to the intended lowest point before installation. Beside a staircase or mezzanine, also allow for the route people take past the fitting.
Sigma designed this collection for high living rooms, open mezzanine spaces and stairwells. A longer suspension can be made on request. Agree the required length when ordering, since the standard version has the maximum height stated above rather than an automatically extended cable.
Choose the bulbs separately
The fitting takes 10 replaceable G9 LED bulbs, each rated at no more than 3 W. Bulbs are not supplied, so include them in your purchase. Their specifications determine the brightness and colour of the light; the glow shown in a room photograph is not a fixed output of the fitting itself.
The 5/5 circuit division provides two groups of light points when connected to a suitable installation. Apply the wattage limit to each individual bulb rather than treating it as the total for the pendant. Replaceable bulbs also let you change the light colour later without replacing the whole fitting.
A single canopy for the whole composition
All the drops hang from one round ceiling canopy, so plan the cluster around a single position on the ceiling. The body combines painted and brass-plated steel, with a brushed finish on the gold tubes.
