Rendl SEMPRE SQ 43 SENSOR R12441 LED ceiling light, opal acrylic, 43 cm, 36 W, 3000 K, with motion sensor

Rendl SEMPRE SQ 43 SENSOR R12441 is a square LED ceiling light with an opal acrylic cover and an integrated motion sensor. Rounded corners soften its outline, while the uninterrupted cover keeps the appearance free of exposed bulbs, decorative arms and individual shades.

A 43 cm square fitted close to the ceiling

The fitting measures 43 × 43 cm and is 7.5 cm high. It mounts directly against the ceiling rather than hanging from a cable. Compare its footprint with the available ceiling area, and check clearance above opening doors and tall cupboards before choosing its position. This is a surface-mounted ceiling light, not a pendant or a recessed fitting.

Its plain geometric body suits modern, modernist and minimalist interiors. The pale cover is the main visible feature, rather than a group of exposed light sources. The square footprint also distinguishes this version from round fittings within the SEMPRE family.

LED lighting already included

The built-in 36 W LED light source and transformer are supplied with the fitting, so there is no separate bulb to choose for this version. Rendl specifies a luminous flux of 2520 lm and a colour temperature of 3000 K, giving warm-white light. Consider those figures alongside the room's size and layout when comparing alternatives; wattage alone does not describe the illumination you will achieve in a particular location.

Set the sensor for the space

The manual provides settings for detection area, hold time and daylight threshold. Available hold-time settings range from 5 seconds to 30 minutes, and daylight sensing can be disabled. These controls govern automatic switching rather than changing the colour temperature.

This arrangement is especially relevant to entrance halls, corridors and staircases, including circulation areas in hotels and restaurants. In living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens and dining rooms, choose settings that reflect how the space is occupied. Connection to the 230 V supply must be carried out by a qualified installer with the power isolated. Handle the acrylic cover carefully, following the manufacturer's installation instructions.
