Quintiesse Scholar QN-SCHOLAR3 bathroom wall light, 3×E27, polished chrome

Scholar QN-SCHOLAR3 from the Quintiesse collection is a three-light wall fitting with a polished chrome finish and clear seeded-glass shades. The rounded shades sit along a horizontal arm, leaving the bulbs visible as part of the fitting's appearance.

Check the space above your mirror

The fitting measures 634 mm wide and 201 mm high, with a projection of 201 mm from the wall. Before positioning it above a mirror, compare its width with the mirror and check the available space above the glass. Projection matters too: the shades occupy space in front of the wall rather than sitting flat against it.

The backplate is 203 mm wide and 114 mm high. These dimensions help you assess the area it will cover and its position relative to an existing electrical outlet. Scholar's broad horizontal layout is different from a narrow upright wall light placed beside a mirror.

Choose three E27 bulbs separately

There are three E27 sockets, and bulbs are not included. Your choice of bulbs determines the light colour and brightness; the warm light shown in the photographs is not a fixed characteristic of the fitting. Because the glass is transparent, bulb shape and appearance are relevant alongside their lighting specifications.

The manufacturer confirms compatibility with dimmable lamps. If brightness control is required, choose compatible bulbs and control equipment. Scholar has no integrated LED module, and the fitting's height is not adjustable.

Bathroom use and traditional detailing

The manufacturer specifies interior use, including bathrooms, and an IP44 rating. The horizontal arrangement supports placement above a mirror or at a dressing table. A bathroom installation still needs a location that meets the relevant electrical requirements.

The steel body combines reflective chrome with the small bubbles visible in the glass. Rounded shades and decorative arm ends give this wall light a traditional, retro character. The transparent shades retain the visible texture without hiding the bulbs behind an opaque diffuser.
