Rendl HEIDI R12380 is a single pendant light with a cone-shaped concrete shade and a wooden upper section. Grey concrete, pale wood and a black cable give it a clearly defined material contrast without decorative arms or additional shades. The open underside leaves the bulb partly visible, making its appearance relevant as well as its light output.
Plan around the shade and suspension
The shade is 23 cm high, with a diameter of 14.8 cm in the technical drawing. This narrow pendant can be considered above a small table or as one of several separate lights along a longer surface. Additional pendants must be purchased individually; photographs showing two lights do not represent a multi-light fitting or a supplied pair.
The drawing shows an 80 cm cable and a ceiling canopy measuring 9.8 cm across and 2 cm high. Compare these dimensions with your ceiling height, electrical outlet and intended position of the lower edge before ordering. The 23 cm measurement describes the shade rather than the whole suspension. Cable length alone does not establish that the fitting offers height adjustment.
A separately selected E27 bulb
HEIDI has one E27 socket and connects to a 230 V supply. The bulb is not included. The product sheet lists LED E27 at 11 W, while the installation manual specifies a maximum LED bulb rating of 15 W.
Brightness and colour temperature depend on the chosen bulb, not on the concrete fitting alone. The manufacturer permits dimming with a suitable light source. Check compatibility between the bulb and its control rather than assuming that every E27 bulb can be dimmed.
Material character and handling
The simple cone suits modern and minimalist schemes, while the concrete and wood combination also works with industrial or Scandinavian finishes. In a living area, dining room or commercial interior, plan a particular lighting point rather than assuming that one small pendant will illuminate the whole room. The manual requires installation by a qualified person with the power disconnected. It also warns that the shade can be damaged easily, so careful handling is needed during unpacking and installation despite the concrete appearance.
