Sigma WINTER L 40954 is a pendant light with an open shade formed from curved vertical slats. The oak-effect finish is paired with a black lamp holder, cable and ceiling canopy. The manufacturer specifies laminated HDF and painted steel, so the wood-like appearance should not be mistaken for a solid oak shade.
A tall shade with adjustable suspension
The narrow upper section opens into a rounded body with an open base. The bulb remains visible between the slats, making its shape part of the pendant's appearance. When choosing a decorative light source, its visible design therefore matters alongside its electrical rating.
The overall fitting measures 40 cm wide and 40 cm deep, with a maximum height of 130 cm. The manufacturer lists the shade dimensions separately as 29 × 48 cm. Suspension height is adjustable. Before installation, compare these measurements with the space above the table or other furniture. If placing it in a circulation area, also consider the clearance below the bottom edge.
One replaceable LED bulb
WINTER L has one E27 holder for an LED bulb rated at no more than 15 W. Brightness and colour temperature depend on the selected bulb, rather than on the collection name. The open construction is not a closed, opaque lampshade: the light source is visible from the sides as well. Choose its appearance and lighting specifications to suit the intended position.
Placement and interior style
The adjustable suspension allows the pendant to be planned above a dining table, in a living area or in a bedroom. In a kitchen it can complement a dining zone; the lighting required on work surfaces should be assessed separately. Oak-effect surfaces, black details and the repeated slat pattern suit Scandinavian and contemporary interiors. The fitting uses a mounting bracket. Article code 40954 identifies the L version and distinguishes it from other sizes in the WINTER collection.
