Thoro JORUN black LED wall light 3000 K, 60 cm

JORUN is a black LED wall light by Thoro in the form of a slim 60 cm bar whose edges follow a gentle curve. The body combines steel, aluminium and PVC, and the light leaves through the lower edge and falls downward.

Size and fitting

The light is 60 cm long, 7 cm high and 5.5 cm deep. Above a chest of drawers, a bed or in a hallway, compare those 60 cm with the width of the furniture or the stretch of wall you want to light. It hangs on a bracket screwed to the wall.

The manufacturer's instructions include connecting a protective earth, so the junction box needs an earth conductor. IP20 means the light is intended for dry indoor spaces, not for a bathroom.

How much light it gives, and what kind

The LED source is built in and supplied with the light, so there is no bulb to buy. It gives 1058 lm, a little more than an old 60 W incandescent bulb at around 800 lm.

3000 K is warm white, and CRI 93 means walls, fabrics and wood look almost as they do in daylight. This version is not dimmable. The manufacturer gives a 5-year warranty on the light.

The light suits a living room, bedroom, dining room, kitchen and hallway. The form is modern and restrained: a plain black body whose only ornament is the curve of its edge.
