VT-420-B is a spotlight made for 3-phase track — it is not fixed to the ceiling but clipped into a rail and slid along it. The black aluminium body is 220 mm long with a 60 × 60 mm section, and the diodes are Samsung chips.

What 3-phase track gives you

A 3-phase rail carries three independent circuits in one profile. The spotlight's adapter assigns the fitting to a chosen circuit, so a single run can hold three groups switched separately — display lighting, general lighting and accents, for instance, each on its own switch. The position and aim of every fitting can be changed later without touching the wiring; that is the main reason track systems end up in shops, galleries and offices.

A 24-degree beam

This is a narrow, directional beam. From 3 m it draws a pool about 130 cm across — tight enough to pick out a table, a shelf of goods or a section of wall, not to light a room evenly. At 5000 K the colour is cool neutral white: it shows goods and materials without warming them, which suits retail and workspaces more than a living room.

Light quality: CRI 90+ and 1 SDCM

A colour rendering index above 90 (with R9 = 59 for reds) is better than typical retail fittings manage. More interesting is the figure declared in the EPREL registry: colour consistency of 1 SDCM. That means successive units emit practically identical white — with a row of spotlights on one rail, tint differences between neighbours would be obvious immediately, and at 1 SDCM there are none. Fittings in this class typically declare 3–6 SDCM.

Before you buy

The spotlight needs 3-phase track; it will not fit a single-phase 230 V rail without changing the adapter. The light source is permanently integrated, so when the diodes reach end of life the whole fitting is replaced. It is not dimmable: the manufacturer declares no output control in EPREL. IP20 restricts it to dry interiors.
