The LOEWE 4735 is a single-light wall lamp on an oval wall plate, with a curved arm that ends in a white pleated organza shade. Just below the shade the arm passes through a ring of clear K9 glass with an irregular, bubbled surface. The metal parts carry an antique brass finish, listed in Mantra's catalogue as "cuero".
How much wall it takes up
The fitting is 43.2 cm high and 16 cm wide, and projects 19.1 cm from the wall. That last figure is what decides where it fits — in a narrow hallway or beside the edge of a bed, compare it with the walking space you want to keep clear.
The shade alone is 17 cm high; the rest is the arm and the wall plate. The lamp weighs 1.3 kg and hangs on a flat bracket screwed to the wall at two points 65 mm apart, then secured from below.
Which bulb you need to buy
The lamp takes one E14 bulb of up to 20 W. No bulb is included, so you choose the colour and brightness yourself — for bedrooms and living rooms 2700–3000 K is the usual choice, meaning warm, slightly yellow light. The bulb must not exceed 70 mm in diameter or 140 mm in length, or it will not fit under the shade.
The manufacturer does not provide for dimming this fitting. It runs on 100–240 V and belongs to protection class I, so the connection point needs an earth conductor. It is intended for indoor use only.
What it is made of
The body and arm are steel, the ring below the shade is K9 glass, and the shade is pleated fabric. The shade is slightly translucent: the fibres scatter light sideways, while most of it leaves through the open top and bottom, along the axis of the shade.

Which interiors it suits
Antique brass, clear glass and white fabric are the vocabulary of glamour and modern classic: a classic shade silhouette, but without ornament and on a single spare curve of arm. The manufacturer intends it for living rooms, bedrooms and hallways — wherever a wall lamp provides additional, soft light against the wall rather than the main lighting.
