Zuma Line FORES wall light W0574-01E-P7AA, matt black, 1×G9 Limited Offer

Zuma Line FORES W0574-01E-P7AA is a compact wall light combining a white spherical glass shade with a matt-black metal section. The product photograph shows the globe above a horizontal cylinder, so the design is built around two simple geometric shapes rather than a long arm or an elaborate fabric shade. This version has one G9 socket.

Allow for the projection as well as the width

The fitting measures 14 cm high and 12 cm wide. The manufacturer's drawing also shows a 15 cm projection from the wall. When choosing its position, compare both the available wall area and the clearance from opening doors, furniture and walking routes. A small front profile does not mean that the light sits flat against the wall.

Its size and form suit supplementary lighting in a living room, bedroom, dining room or study, as well as an entrance hall or corridor. The number of fittings required should be considered alongside the room size and the specifications of the bulb you select. The size of the glass globe alone does not establish how brightly the whole room will be lit.

A separately purchased G9 bulb

No light source is supplied. The manufacturer specifies an LED bulb with a G9 base, a 230 V supply and a maximum power of 33 W. The fitting's power limit is not a statement of a particular bulb's consumption or luminous flux. Brightness and colour temperature depend on the chosen bulb. Select these characteristics before purchase, especially if the wall light will be used alongside other fittings in the same space.

Simple geometry and handling the glass

The contrast between the white globe and black cylinder supports a modern, minimalist interior scheme based on clear shapes rather than ornament. The matt finish describes the black metal section, not the white glass shade.

The assembly instructions call for the protective plastic sheet to be used while screwing on the glass, and warn against overtightening it. Keep the sheet for future bulb changes too. Access to the shade is therefore worth considering when deciding the mounting position, rather than choosing the spot solely from the front view.
