Aldex Stick All Black M 1084PL_G1_M is a black metal ceiling light with a single G9 light source. Its slender tube ends in a movable head, allowing the light direction to change without repositioning the complete fitting. The upper section and head have a matt black finish; the small connector visible at the joint should not be confused with a gold-finished head variant.
Allow for the drop below the ceiling
The M version measures 54.5 cm high, with a width and depth of 5.5 cm each. This is not a flat light that sits entirely against the ceiling. Before choosing its position, compare that height with the space above a worktop, chest of drawers or mirror, and check the head clearance below the fitting.
The vertical body places the light source noticeably below the ceiling rather than close to it like a short surface-mounted spotlight. Over a kitchen island, consider the fixing position and the final location of the movable head together; a narrow ceiling base does not mean the whole light needs little vertical space.
Direct a single point of light
Aldex identifies dressing tables, mirrors and chests of drawers, as well as kitchen bars and islands, as suitable locations. Tilting the end section directs light towards the selected area. One G9 socket takes a replaceable LED source, and the manufacturer states that the light source is included.
When using several fittings, plan their spacing around the surface being lit. A single narrow tube should not be assumed to provide even lighting throughout a room.
A simple black outline
The round ceiling base, straight metal body and undecorated head suit modern and minimalist interiors. Stick can stand alone or form a repeated arrangement. When combining different lengths from the collection, check the finish as well: All Black M has a black head, not a gold end section.
