Argon TWIST 4900 adjustable wall light, black with brass-plated details, E14

Argon TWIST 4900 is an adjustable wall light with a single flared metal shade. Its textured black finish is paired with brass-plated details around the shade and mounting joint. Article 4900 is the one-light wall version, rather than the two-light TWIST 7037 ceiling fitting.

Allow room for the shade to move

The movable mounting lets you change the shade's position and aim the light. When choosing a place on the wall, allow for a maximum height of 18 cm, a width of 11.5 cm and a maximum depth of 14 cm. The maximum measurements matter because the fitting is adjustable: the available space needs to accommodate a changed position, not just the arrangement shown in the photograph.

This compact wall fitting can provide an additional light point in a living room, bedroom, dining room or hallway. Beside a bed or seating area, compare its projection with your furniture layout. Adjustment helps determine where the light falls, while the brightness itself depends on the bulb you choose. The joint does not establish the lamp's light output.

Choose the E14 bulb separately

The fitting takes one E14 bulb rated at no more than 7 W and operates at 230 V. A light source is not included. Check bulb dimensions as well as the cap, wattage, light output and colour temperature before choosing one. E14 describes the connection rather than brightness or light colour, so a photograph of the illuminated lamp cannot replace the specifications of the actual bulb.

Argon lists the option of fitting a switch to the wall base. This is a possible modification, not confirmation that a switch is supplied as standard. Clarify that option before ordering if you need to operate the light at the fitting itself.

Painted steel, not solid brass

The materials are painted steel and brass-plated steel. The circular base, simple shade and restrained metallic accents suit modern, minimalist and modernist interiors. TWIST can also serve as supplementary wall lighting in a hotel room or restaurant where the design calls for a small, aimable wall fitting.
