Block Wall Sconce 1xE27 Max. 40W White Concrete/Frosted Glass 35.5 cm

Block 8972137 by Spot Light is a white concrete wall light with frosted glass. Its broad front follows a shallow curve, with a fine surface texture visible in the concrete. The glass sits behind the lower edge of the housing rather than forming an exposed globe or decorative shade.

Check the projection as well as the width

The manufacturer's drawing gives a width of 35.5 cm, a height of 10.5 cm and a depth of 13.5 cm. These dimensions describe a low, horizontally arranged fitting, but one that still projects into the room. Compare that depth with the space beside doors, furniture and passageways before choosing its position.

It can serve as supplementary wall lighting in a living room, bedroom, entrance hall or corridor. This is not an adjustable spotlight, so placement matters more than the ability to redirect a movable head. Consider its role alongside the other lights in the room rather than assuming that a single fitting will provide all the illumination required.

One E27 bulb, purchased separately

The light has one E27 socket and accepts a bulb rated up to 40 W. No bulb is included, and this version does not use an integrated LED module. When buying a light source, check the base, wattage limit and physical dimensions against the space inside the housing.

The chosen bulb determines light colour and luminous output. A white body does not mean cool-white light, while frosted glass does not specify a fixed brightness or colour temperature. This distinction is useful when matching the wall light to existing lighting. The manufacturer specifies a 230 V AC supply and electrical protection class I, which must be considered when preparing the connection.

A curved alternative to a concrete block

White concrete, frosted glass and an undecorated front support a modern or minimalist setting. The material has a visible character, but the outline is rounded rather than sharply rectangular. Article 8972137 identifies the white-base, frosted-glass version; it should not be confused with other finishes in the Block family.
