Ceiling lamp 5xE27 ELLE

ELLE is a ceiling lamp with five arms, each ending in a small, perforated cylindrical shade that leaves the bulb visible. The frame and shades are made of black metal, with the arms spreading out radially from a round canopy fixed permanently to the ceiling.

How large the lamp is and how it mounts

The fixture spans 70 × 70 cm of ceiling area at a height of 25 cm – a size worth comparing with the free ceiling space at the mounting spot, since the arms spread widely to the sides. The lamp is fixed permanently via a central canopy, from which five rigid, downward-facing arms with shades extend.

Including packaging, the fixture weighs 2.6 kg gross, which matters when choosing the ceiling fixing.

How much and what kind of light it gives

ELLE has five E27 sockets, each for a bulb up to 60 W. Bulbs are not included, so five need to be bought separately, with the light colour chosen independently. The fixture is not dimmable, so it will not work with either a dimmable bulb or a dimmer switch. The perforated shades do not fully cover the bulb, so it stays visible while the lamp is lit.
