Keter Lighting MONDE BLACK 1984 ceiling light, 3×E27, black with honey-coloured glass

Keter Lighting MONDE BLACK 1984 combines three rounded honey-coloured glass shades with a black metal frame. Its arms extend from a circular ceiling canopy at different levels, turning the shades in different directions. Rather than enclosing all three bulbs within one large shade, the design gives each light point its own place in the composition.

Check the space beneath the ceiling

The complete fitting measures 50 cm long, 50 cm wide and 36 cm high. Compare its footprint with the proposed position and check the clearance beneath it, particularly where people will walk. This is a ceiling light with rigid metal arms, not a pendant hanging from a long cable. Do not plan on shortening a flexible suspension to change the overall drop.

The manufacturer's drawing shows a glass shade measuring 15 cm across and 13 cm high. The rounded glass has an open end, and the bulb remains visible through it. The appearance of the bulbs therefore contributes to the appearance of the assembled light.

Choose three E27 bulbs separately

There are three E27 lampholders, and light sources are not included. The bulbs in the photographs illustrate the fitting rather than the package contents. When choosing replacements, check their physical dimensions against the glass shades as well as the socket type. Brightness and colour temperature depend on the bulbs you select; honey-coloured glass is not a specification for a fixed light colour.

A balance of black metal and tinted glass

The combination of simple tubular arms and glass globes suits modern and industrial interiors, while the tinted glass also gives a retro reference. Consider it for general ceiling lighting in a living room, bedroom, dining room or entrance hall, subject to the mounting clearance and your choice of bulbs. The manufacturer specifies indoor use, so this fitting should not be selected as a garden light.
