Endon Hampton 76304 is a wall light with a clear glass shade and chrome-plated steel fittings. Its rounded shade hangs beneath a curved arm, with a circular backplate against the wall. The bulb remains visible through the glass, so its shape is part of the appearance as well as its light output.
Allow for the shade and projection
The fitting measures 28 cm high and 14 cm wide and projects 20 cm from the wall. Compare these dimensions with the available space beside a mirror, cabinet or passage before deciding where to install it. The projection deserves particular attention near an opening door: allow clearance for the door's movement rather than measuring only the backplate.
Clear glass leaves the light source exposed, unlike an opaque diffuser. The arched arm and stepped metal shade holder give Hampton a classic profile. It can provide supplementary wall lighting in a living room, bedroom, dining room or hallway, but the appearance of the fitting alone does not establish how bright the chosen bulb will be.
A separate E14 bulb and pull switch
Endon specifies one 4 W E14 LED bulb, which is not included. Brightness and colour temperature depend on the bulb you purchase; this replaceable-bulb fitting does not have a fixed light output of its own. A filament-style bulb is visible in the manufacturer's photographs, not an indication that a bulb arrives in the box.
A pull-cord switch is provided on the fitting. The installation instructions state that Hampton is not suitable for use with a dimmer switch, even if the separately purchased bulb itself is dimmable.
Bathroom installation and care
Endon rates this IP44 light for bathroom zone 2 and permits zone 1 installation with a 30 mA RCD. An electrician should confirm the location and local installation requirements. The Class I fitting must be earthed and uses a 220–240 V supply. Clean with a dry cloth only; the instructions exclude liquid and abrasive cleaners.
